Embark on an exploration of art and words inspired by images and forms from nature. Combine hand cut stencils and handwriting on small format paper. Transform drawing materials, acrylic paint, medium, and resist techniques to create multiple transparent layers that sandwich the elements of image, text and texture. These richly layered pieces have a striking, print-like quality. All techniques link together allowing endless opportunity for individual expression. You complete this class with fresh ideas and a hand-constructed portfolio to house a new body of work.
