Two Kinds of Rapid-fire Fun with Sally Penley
Sally Penley is bringing us two days of fun workshops in early May. You won’t want to miss this event! If you’ve taken one of Sally’s workshops, you know it will be a good time and you’ll come away with some wonderful treasures.
DAY ONE (Sunday, May 6):
“Let’s Make Book!”
Sally will build on her popular “Six Books in a Box” class, adding a few extras.
You will create seven or eight simple book structures for use as greeting
cards, photo books or small journals, AND you’ll create a box to hold your
finished books.
DAY TWO (Monday, May 7)
“Mini Masterpieces”
In this workshop, you’ll create many beautiful little art masterpieces, using
acrylic paint, a 5-layer technique, and several forms of metallic “bling.” Class
will create more than 50 sparkling “mini pieces” (2”x2”), six finished cards
and a little book of samples. Time permitting, we will also make a mobile
with some of the finished “minis.” No art experience necessary.
